Comox Valley Healthcare Foundation
Comox Valley Healthcare Foundation raises funds for hospital-based acute care, community-based healthcare, and not-for-profit long-term care. Established in 1993, the Comox Valley Healthcare Foundation also creates awareness, and promotes and furthers the aims, interests and objectives of healthcare across the Comox Valley.
Spirit of the North Healthcare Foundation
Spirit of the North Healthcare Foundation raises funds to enhance healthcare quality within the University Hospital of Northern BC service area and 130 additional facilities across the Northern Region. Established in 1991, the Foundation creates collaborative environments with donors, healthcare partners, and Northern Health Authority to contribute meaningfully to capital equipment, facility enhancements, and healthcare professional education. Since inception, the Foundation has contributed over $40 million to essential healthcare needs throughout Northern BC.
St. Paul’s Foundation
The St. Paul’s Foundation supports innovative research, critical training programs, compassionate patient care, as well as life-enriching activities for residents in long-term care. Many of the essentials needed to provide exceptional care are not funded through traditional channels. Donor support helps close these gaps.
The Auxiliary Society for Comox Valley Healthcare
The auxiliary society’s thrift at The Views in Comox, and its Valley Gift Shop at North Island Hospital in Courtenay, generate funds that support a variety of patient services and programs, such as music and art therapy to providing patient comforts in the ED at North Island Hospital. The auxiliary also provides specialized medical equipment and fund specialized training for staff.
